These App Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Cash AI mobile application (the "App") and related services, features, content, and communications (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided under the brand name "The Cash AI" and are available via thecash.ai and supported app distribution platforms (for example, the Apple App Store).
The Cash AI helps you track and organize financial information you manually enter, such as income, expenses, transfers, categories, tags, budgets, and notes. The App may provide analytics and reports, including monthly email reports.
No bank login collection: The App does not connect to your bank and does not collect or store your bank logins, payment card numbers, or similar financial account credentials. You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter and for any decisions you make based on the Services.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your local law to consent to online services, if higher) to use the Services. If you are under 18 (or under the age of legal majority where you live), you may use the Services only with consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The Services are offered worldwide. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction. If any law or regulation prohibits or restricts your use of the Services for any reason, you must not use the Services. You access and use the Services on your own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws.
You may need an account to use the Services. We use third-party authentication (currently Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

The App may offer AI features such as voice input to help create transactions or interpret your text. If you use these features, your input (for example, voice audio and/or transcribed text and related context) may be sent to and processed by our AI provider (currently OpenAI) to produce results.
No financial advice: AI output is provided for convenience and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for verifying information and making decisions.
No accuracy guarantee: AI features may produce incorrect or incomplete results. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming anything created or suggested by AI.
Premium features may require a paid subscription. For iOS, subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment and manages subscription settings, and your purchase is subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
Subscriptions may be offered in monthly and annual options. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless you cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings before renewal. Your Apple account may be charged within 24 hours prior to renewal, subject to Apple’s rules.
No direct refunds: We do not provide refunds directly for App Store subscriptions. Any refund requests must be made through Apple, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may send emails to the address associated with your account, including security notices and optional reports (including monthly reports). You may be able to opt out of non-essential emails where applicable, but we may still send essential service notices.
We plan to add optional end-to-end encryption. When enabled, your data would be encrypted on your device and would require your password or encryption key to decrypt. If you lose your password or key, we may be unable to recover your data. We will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy when this feature is released.
You agree not to misuse the Services. You must not attempt to access systems or data without authorization, interfere with the Services, distribute malware, or use the Services in any way that violates laws or the rights of others.
The Services and all original content, features, designs, and functionality are owned by The Cash AI and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the Services without our express written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cash AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. Financial decisions you make based on the Services are at your own risk.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at our discretion, with or without notice, including if we believe you violated these Terms or used the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time. Subscription cancellation must be done through Apple’s subscription settings and is separate from deleting your account.
We may update these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice. We will post the most current version on our website and/or within the App and update the "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the United States for any actions relating to these Terms or your use of the Services.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
